A couple of years ago during Covid, Ian suggested the idea of Imagine Cramond, encouraging residents of all ages to envisage how they would like to develop Cramond for the future. Top of the list came improving the natural environment. Spurred on, he came up with a tree project which led to the first phase of Cramond Commemorates. It has dual benefits: providing consolation and environmental enhancement. The story is still unfolding as can be seen on this website. The whole community will benefit from these trees for decades to come.
